Curtis Bryant 3rd South River South Brunswick Route 535 South Brunswick police have released the name of the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 23. Curtis Bryant 3rd, 65, of South River was driving a Nissan Maxima on Route 535 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said. The crash occurred just before 6 a.m. The investigation is still active and anyone with information is asked to call the lead investigator PFC Jason Gassman at (732) 329-4000 ext. 743.

Motorcyclist Killed Route 1 South Brunswick Two people were killed in separate crashes in South Brunswick including a motorist from South River and a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania, authorities said. At 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, officers were alerted to a single-car crash on Route 535.  The preliminary investigation shows a Nissan Maxima, operated by a 65-year-old man from South River, left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity is being withheld until notification is made to next of kin.  The investigation is still active and anyone with information is asked…

Cemetery Worker Rescued From Grave In Central Jersey A cemetery worker who fell into a grave was rescued in Central Jersey, authorities said. At 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, South Brunswick Police received a report of a man falling into a grave at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 840 Route 535.  South Brunswick EMS, Monmouth Junction Fire Department, and Monroe Fire Department responded.  The emergency agencies found a 47-year-old male down approximately 6 feet in an open grave site.
