Former Jersey Shore Officer Sentenced For Attempted Sexual Assault Of Unconscious Woman A former Keansburg police officer was sentenced to four years in New Jersey State Prison for the attempted sexual assault of an unconscious woman, authorities said. Nicholas R. Thompson, 26, also must register as a sex offender under Megan's Law and be under parole supervision for life, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
