On Wednesday, March 30,  suspects in a silver Audi — believed to be stolen out of Clifton — attempted to steal a vehicle on Todd Road, Toms RIver police said. The vehicle’s owner was inside the car at the time and startled the suspect who then fled the area, police said. Immediately after, the same suspects purportedly made attempts to steal vehicles in Wall Township.
