Police In NJ Subdue Knife-Wielding Suspect Who Refused To Relent An incident that could have easily gone sideways ended successfully Monday when a pair of Elmwood Park police officers subdued a suspect who stabbed himself and then refused to relinquish the knife. Nasir Clark, 21, of Paterson had violated a court order by going to his ex-girlfriend's home off River Drive, Police Chief Michael Foligno said, noting that his department has "dealing with this with him the past couple of weeks now." Paterson Trio Seized In Car-To-Car Shooting Three people in one car fired on four in another in Paterson, said authorities who captured the accused trio. Charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses are Nasir Clark, Aleena Rivera and Nijel Towns, all 19 of Paterson. All were arrested after Friday’s shooting in the area of Jersey and Market streets, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a statement Saturday.
