Jersey Shore Man Stabbed Victim Dead During Fight: Prosecutor A 32-year-old man from Neptune Township man has been charged with murder after stabbing another man dead during an argument, authorities said. Derrick Simms stabbed the victim, who was found unresponsive outside of a Squirrel Road home in Neptune around 5:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Linskey said. Gabriel Braithwaite, 19, of Keansburg and Jerod Dearin, 22, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen were both charged with two counts of first-degree murder and single counts of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, two related second-degree weapons offenses, and third-degree hindering apprehension, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Ryan Taylor was charged with attempted murder, armed burglary and various weapons charges in the May shooting of Tykee Mitchell, 26, of Asbury Park, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J.
