Dad Charged With Vehicular Homicide In NJ Crash That Killed 8-Year-Old Son: State Police
A 31-year-old father from Camden was charged with vehicular homicide in a crash that killed his 8-year-old son, authorities said. Franklin Diaz Sr., who remained in the hospital, was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child and causing death while driving with a suspended license, according to Sgt. Philip Curry, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. The crash occurred at 1:47 p.m. Saturday, May 27, on Route 55 northbound at milepost 52.9 in Mantua Township, Gloucester County, Curry said.
