Pair Charged In $18K Jewelry Heist After Deflating Victim's Tire In South Brunswick A pair of New York men have been charged with stealing $18,000 worth of jewelry after deflating a victim's tire, authorities said. The crime took place on August 19, 2022, after the victim visited a jewelry store in Iselin, South Brunswick police said. After leaving the store and traveling Route 27 the victim stopped at a pharmacy. Investigators believe two males inserted a tire-deflation device into the tire of the victim’s vehicle. High School Locked Down In South Brunswick South Brunswick High School had a "shelter-in-place" on Thursday, Dec. 22 after an unauthorized student from another school district entered the building, authorities said. Police said the unauthorized student was looking for a fight with a South Brunswick student at about 7:55 a.m. School administrations in conjunction with the School Resource Officer placed the school in shelter-in-place while they attempted to locate the trespasser, police said.
