Football Star, 24, Dies Of Injuries From Trenton Shooting: Prosecutor A 24-year-old man from Mercer County died of injuries suffered in a shooting in Trenton earlier this month, authorities said. Justin Prescott Reed, of Ewing, died on May 22, as a result of injuries he sustained in the May 14 shooting on Brunswick Avenue, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday, May 31. No arrests had been made in the shooting as of press time, authorities said. Trenton VCU Detectives found Rashaon A. Williams with a Taurus .9mm semi-automatic handgun after seeing a bulge in his waistband while patrolling Brunswick Avenue, police said in a release on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Trenton Man, 37, Reported Missing, Police Say A 37-year-old Trenton man has been reported missing, police say. James Rogers, of North Trenton, was reported missing on Tuesday, July 5, local police said. Rogers frequently visits the area of 590 New York Ave., as well as Princeton Avenue and Brunswick Avenue, according to police. Additional details were not released. US Marshals Arrest Trenton Fugitive, 28, In Stabbing Death A 28-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in last weekend's stabbing death, authorities said. Allen Q. Brookins of East State Street was charged with murder and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Brookins was taken into custody on Thursday evening by members of the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force, Onofri said on Friday afternoon. 2 Dead In Separate Trenton Homicides Two men were killed in separate homicides overnight in Trenton. Daniel Alvaranga, 33, was fatally stabbed on the 300 block of Brunswick Avenue, around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, authorities in Mercer County said. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
