The Bridgewater lawyer filing the suit says she doesn't think there is any correlation between her legal action and Jenkinson's decision this week to lock off its privately-owned beaches. The shark bite occurred off Stone Harbor's 109th Street Beach, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, Stone Harbor officials said. The injured surfer sustained several cuts to her left foot and calf, officials said. She received immediate onsite medical treatment from Stone Harbor Fire/Rescue. PA Dad Dies, Son Rescued Swimming In Ocean City: Report A 56-year-old Pennsylvania dad drowned and his son was rescued by lifeguards after trying to save him while swimming off Ocean City, NJ, 6abc reports. Shawn Reilly's 21-year-old son ran into the water after him on Thursday, Sept. 8 at the unprotected 12th Street beach, the outlet said. The two went in the water after regular guards had finished their shift and after-hour crews were leaving for the night, NJ Advance Media reports.
