NJ Fugitive Caught After 100-Mile Police Chase With 10 Guns, Drugs In NC: Police
A fugitive wanted for attempted murder in Monmouth County was captured in North Carolina after leading police on a roughly 100-mile chase, authorities said.
Damian Bell, 49, of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested in Durham County, NC, on Friday, Mar. 15. The Rowan County Sheriff's Office announced his arrest in a news release on Wednesday, Mar. 20.

Body Found In Trunk ID'd As Missing NJ Man
A missing Ocean County man was identified as the man whose body was found in a vehicle's trunk in Lakewood, authorities said.
David Koscuik, 57, of Lakewood, was identified by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer in a news release on Friday, Mar. 1.
Lakewood police found Koscuik's body in the trunk of a vehicle near Fairway Court at around 12:13 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
The National Center For Missing and Endangered listed Koscuik as missing in a Facebook post on Friday, Feb. 16. He was last seen in Brooklyn, NY, on Thursday, Feb. 8.

Federal jurors in Trenton convicted a Brooklyn man for his role in a plot to strong-arm a Jersey Shore resident into giving him and his accomplices $200,000, authorities said.
Endrit Kllogjeri, 27, and his cohorts were tripped up by an undercover detective posing as the Monmouth County victim, federal authorities said.

James Ray III, the Montclair lawyer convicted of killing Angela Blesdoe, the mother of his 6-year-old daughter, died in jail just days before he was due for sentencing, Daily Voice has learned.
