South Jersey Man Killed In Crash Into Delaware River A Gloucester County man was killed after his car crashed into the Delaware River in Salem County, authorities said. The 23-year-old man from Monroeville died in the crash at Industrial Park Road and Riviera Drive at about 8 a.m. Saturday, April 13, Pennsville Township police said. His name had not been released. First responders found the vehicle overturned in the river.

Rider Student Samuel Beale Dies In I-295 Crash Authorities have identified the 20-year-old driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Mercer County. Samuel Beale, of the Kenvil section of Roxbury, was driving a Nissan SUV northbound near milepost 60.6 in Hamilton shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, when he veered off the highway to the left and struck a concrete bridge support and guardrail, New Jersey State Police said. Beale was pronounced dead at the scene, State Police said. Beale was a sophomore economics major at Rider University in Lawrenceville, according to his LinkedIn.com profile.

Motorcyclist Killed In South Jersey Crash: Njsp A 60-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he veered off a Cumberland County road and struck a tree and utility pole, authorities said. William Rannels, of Fairfield Township, was riding a Honda motorcycle eastbound on Back Neck Road in Fairfield at about 7 p.m. Sunday, April 14 when he ran off the roadway, New Jersey State Police said. Rannels sustained fatal injuries, State Police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
