Armed Chase Bank Robber Escapes With $12K Prompting Major NJ Search, Prosecutor Says
A masked gunman robbed a Chase Bank in Morris County before escaping with approximately $12,000, prompting a massive manhunt on Saturday, June 27, authorities said.
The robbery happened at approximately 1:57 p.m., at the Chase Bank at 530 Myrtle Ave., in Boonton, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, Boonton Police Chief Chris Petonak, and Capt. Anthony LiMandri said.

A Fairview man is accused of stealing thousands of dollars in valuables including a $6,500 gold necklace from gym members at an Edgewater shopping mall, police said.
Two thefts were reported on Tuesday, Jan. 6 and Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Club Studio Gym, located inside the City Place shopping mall in Edgewater, according to Edgewater Police Chief Donald Martin.

A 51-year-old Queens woman was arrested and charged with having a prostitution business in Montclair, authorities announced Tuesday, July 8.
Law enforcement began investigating a business on the 400 block of Bloomfield Avenue after receiving complaints about suspected acts of prostitution, Montclair police said.
On Wednesday, July 2, a law enforcement operation led to the arrest of Meifeing Li, police said. Li is charged with prostitution, police said.
