Knife-Wielding Man Shot By Newark Police: Prosecutors A 22-year old Newark man was shot by police on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 28 after he threatened them with a knife, police said. Quadir Harvey suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
