Truck Crash Closes Exit On Atlantic City Expressway A crash closed an exit on the Atlantic City Expressway on Monday, Nov. 27, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. in Atlantic City, according to the South Jersey Transportation Authority.  The crash closed Exit 2 off the expressway and drivers were being asked to move over for emergency vehicles, 511nj.org reported. The crash involved a truck that was unloading a dumpster toppling power lines, Atlantic City police said.

Neither 7:30 a.m. crash in Egg Harbor Township resulted in serious injuries, according to New Jersey State Police. The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. Thursday, May 25 eastbound east of the Pleasantville Toll Plaza, according to the South Jersey Transportation Authority. A truck carrying glass dropped glass on the roadway, said Trooper Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police. No one was hurt, he said. Tolls Going Up On Atlantic City Expressway Tolls on the Atlantic City Expressway are going up next year, officials said on Thursday, Nov. 17. Starting Jan. 1, 2023, cash tolls on the 44-mile Expressway’s Egg Harbor and Route 50 toll plazas will increase from $4.40 to $4.55 for a passenger vehicle. Expressway tolls are going up by 3% from year to year, said Kimberly Testa, a spokeswoman with the South Jersey Transportation Authority.
