Wyckoff Kids Invited To Mermaid, Fairy-Themed Recreation Program WYCKOFF, N.J. — Wyckoff Recreation Department opened registration for its "Happy Dance Fairy" classes for kids in March. The drop-off program is for kids in pre-K through second grade.  Each week has a different theme including nautical fun and fairies. It has five sessions, March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m.  There is no parent participation. Ringwood Farm Brings Horses, Kids Together To Learn RINGWOOD, N.J. — A Ringwood farm brought special-needs students and horses together for an ongoing therapy program. Starlight Farm started the volunteer effort 17 years ago, owner Rie Longo said. Around 40 kids a week from various school in North Jersey come to ride the horses. Even more come in the summer. Totowa House Fire Displaces 2 TOTOWA, N.J. — A Totowa house fire left two people displaced but none injured Monday afternoon, authorities said. The fire left the house on Sutton Avenue "totally destroyed," Chief Vincent Marciano said, as well as a car in the garage. The blaze started in the area of the garage but Marciano said the cause was unknown. The fire started around 3:40 p.m. Monday and it took around a half-hour to put out, the chief said. CR FItness on Lawlins Road will host a "Benefitness" class to support the RKM Foundation. The foundation was formed to honor Rohan Kiel Miller, 10, who died in an accident in Jamaica.
