Two Charged In Clifton Armed Robbery CLIFTON, N.J. — Clifton police charged two men in an armed robbery of a liquor store last year. Miguel Coriano, 45, of Paterson, and Salvatore Zisa Jr., 39, of Clifton, were connected to a robbery at Field Liquors on Route 46 last June, Detective Sgt. Robert Bracken said. One of the men pulled a fake handgun on a cashier and demanded cash, Bracken said. When the employee refused, he tried to run away with the cash register but dropped it and the fake gun outside the store while his partner acted as the getaway driver, he said. The store started a liquidation sale in February leading up to the closure, spokesman Howard Riefs said. "Store closures are part of a series of actions we’re taking to reduce on-going expenses, adjust our asset base, and accelerate the transformation of our business model," Riefs told Daily Voice.
