Tashawn D. Carmel Man Faces DWI Charge After Car Crash CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Carmel man was busted for drunk driving following a property damage crash at Tri County Coal, according to Carmel police. Robert Carlisle, 49, was arrested by Carmel police after he drove over a stone barrier into the parking lot of the business, hitting another vehicle in the lot on Saturday, Aug. 19, police said. When officers arrived they determined he was intoxicated and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol level of .18 percent or higher, police said.  Carlisle was released on his own recognizance.

Legrande Cooper, 28, is wanted for fleeing from the scene of an accident and police on Aug. 31, state police said. Cooper fled the vehicle he was operating after he failed to negotiate a turn on Masten Road and was involved in a collision. Mahopac Woman Found Semi-Conscious Charged With DWI, Police Say A Mahopac woman was charged with DWI after police found her semi-conscious in a shopping center parking lot, said Carmel police. Linda Jordan, 61, was found semi-conscious next to her running vehicle in the Lake Plaza parking lot on Monday, Aug. 21, police said.  She was charged with felony DWI and obstructing an intersection, police added. Jordan was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
