Red Hook Man Sexually Assaulted Teen Boys, Police Say DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - Dutchess County Sheriff's officials are asking the public to come forward if they have had contact with a Red Hook man who was charged Wednesday with sexually assaulting two young teen boys. Tashawn D. Miles, 26, was arrested following an investigation into the assaults as part of his job as a rehabilitation specialist for an organization which provides support services for adolescents with developmental disabilities, said Capt. Seven Live Sharks Removed From Basement Of Lagrangeville Home To the surprise of wildlife officials, seven live sharks and three dead sharks were found in an indoor swimming pool in a Dutchess home late last month by state Department of Environmental Conservation officials. Carmel Man Faces DWI Charge After Car Crash CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Carmel man was busted for drunk driving following a property damage crash at Tri County Coal, according to Carmel police. Robert Carlisle, 49, was arrested by Carmel police after he drove over a stone barrier into the parking lot of the business, hitting another vehicle in the lot on Saturday, Aug. 19, police said. When officers arrived they determined he was intoxicated and charged with DWI and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol level of .18 percent or higher, police said. Carlisle was released on his own recognizance.

Suspect On Loose After Fleeing Pleasant Valley Crash DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - State Police are asking for the public's help locating a man wanted for fleeing from the scene of an auto crash in Pleasant Valley and for possession of drugs. Legrande Cooper, 28, is wanted for fleeing from the scene of an accident and police on Aug. 31, state police said. Cooper fled the vehicle he was operating after he failed to negotiate a turn on Masten Road and was involved in a collision. Mount Vernon Sex Offender Gets 15-Year Sentence For Burglary, Stalking A Mount Vernon sex offender was sentenced to 15 years in state prison on Tuesday for burglary, stalking, and forcible touching of a Westchester woman, said Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. James Brower, 35, who was convicted by a jury on June 1, was also sentenced to 15 years post release supervision and must register as a sex offender once he is released from prison. Poughkeepsie Man Arrested Twice In One Day For Child Porn, Grand Larceny DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - In a strange set of circumstances, a Poughkeepsie man who was nabbed by city cops for possessing child pornography on Tuesday afternoon, was arrested earlier in the day by Lloyd Police for felony grand larceny, police said. Mahopac Woman Found Semi-Conscious Charged With DWI, Police Say A Mahopac woman was charged with DWI after police found her semi-conscious in a shopping center parking lot, said Carmel police. Linda Jordan, 61, was found semi-conscious next to her running vehicle in the Lake Plaza parking lot on Monday, Aug. 21, police said. She was charged with felony DWI and obstructing an intersection, police added. Jordan was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
