Weeks-Long Route 134 Lane Closures Scheduled Motorist should be prepared for a weeks-long lane closures when work begins on Route 134 in Ossining beginning Monday, Sept. 11, said the state Department of Transportation. Work is expected to begin to last until at Friday, Sept. 22, as crews repair the roadway between Route 9A and Route 133 weather permitting, DOT officials said. Rhinebeck Victim Says Drug Deal Gone Bad Caused Violent Bat Attack DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A Rhinebeck man who was viciously attacked by three men with a baseball bat on Wednesday, Aug. 30, during a drug deal gone bad, said a stranger who called 911 saved his life, according to the Daily Freeman.  Joseph Banks, 32, told police he traveled to a farm stand in Saugerties to buy $90 of marijuana from the men.
