22-Year-Old Carmel Woman In Disabled Car Charged With DWI Carmel Police arrested a local woman on Monday, Aug. 21, after officers responding to a call for a disabled vehicle found the woman in the car drunk, police said. Stephanie Salomon, 22, was charged with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol level .08 percent or higher and parking on the pavement, said Carmel Police Chief Mike Cazzari. She was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.

Man Caught With Stolen Xanax In Putnam Hospital Center Parking Lot A Carmel man was arrested for possessing stolen Xanax after police responded to a call on Saturday, Aug. 19, of a suspicious person at Putnam Hospital. Daniel Schreiber, 24, was charged after responding officers located him sitting in his vehicle in the hospital parking lot and found three stolen bottles of Xanax in his car, said Carmel Police Chief Mike Cazzari.  Schreiber was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of stolen property. He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
