Man Wounded In Shooting, Pair Arrested In Atlantic City
A man was shot, a suspect is sought and a pair was arrested on separate weapons charges, authorities said.
On Saturday, April 8, at 8:42 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to the 800 block of Indiana Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.
As officers were responding, an SUV was observed fleeing the area at a high rate of speed. Police stopped the vehicle at Ohio and Atlantic Avenues. The driver, 32, of Galloway, had sustained a gunshot wound and the vehicle showed evidence of gunfire, police said.

A 30-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, at 8:30 p.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.
Responding officers found a man that was shot and evidence of gunfire, police said.
The unidentified victim, of Atlantic City, was taken by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment.

A 14-year-old juvenile wanted in a recent shooting has been arrested, authorities said.
On May 31, at 9:33 p.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the first block of South Florida Avenue in reference to a report that someone was shot. Police found a man shot multiple times.

Eleven accused members of a drug ring that authorities said openly peddled crack and potentially fatal fentanyl in a Newark neighborhood were charged federally on Wednesday.

At 10:41 p.m. Monday, Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Drexel Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert, a police spokesman said.

A Jersey City ex-con who fired at a moving car is headed to federal prison for a plea-bargained five years, authorities said Tuesday.
