Monroe Township police responded to a Woods Road home just after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, where an 11- and 14-year-old were found and taken to a hospital, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Boy, 5, Drowns In Swimming Pool In South Jersey: Report A 5-year-old boy drowned in a backyard swimming pool in Gloucester County, NJ Advance Media reported.  The drowning occurred in the evening on Monday, July 25 on Hampshire Drive in Deptford Township, the outlet said. The child was rushed to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and pronounced dead at 6:40 p.m., the report said, quoting the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office. NJ Boy, 2, Drowns In Pool UPDATE: A 2-year-old Old Tappan boy who was pulled from a backyard swimming pool died despite furious efforts to save his life, authorities said Friday. "They worked on him in the ER for 20 minutes before pronouncing him" at Hackensack University Medical Center, a responder said. Responding police officers conducted CPR and got a pulse after the boy was pulled from the pool around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, they said. It wasn't immediately clear how long he'd been in the water.
