"The Seaside Heights Borough Code prohibits entering the ocean when lifeguards are not on duty and when conditions are otherwise unsafe to enter the water," Seaside Heights wrote on Facebook.  Violators are subject to a municipal summons with a fine between $100 and $1,250, the borough said. Video Shows Police Rescuing Dog From Hot Car On Jersey Shore A dog locked in a hot car for nearly 45 minutes was rescued by police officers this week in Ocean County (scroll for video).
