Woman Killed In Jersey Shore Apartment Fire A woman was killed in an apartment fire at the Jersey Shore early Wednesday, Nov. 15, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. The fire broke out around 6:20 a.m. at Evergreen Terrace Apartments in Red Bank, a public housing complex off Drs. James Parker Boulevard, authorities said. A source said the woman was about 90 years old. News12.com said the fire victim had an oxygen tank in her possession. Woman Killed In House Fire On Jersey Shore A woman was killed in a house fire in Belmar  on Wednesday, March 15, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 4 p.m. on the 1700 block of Surf Avenue, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. The woman's name had not been released. An investigation into the cause and origin of the fire, involving members of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office, is ongoing.  There has been no indication of any foul play being involved, the prosecutor said. Elderly Man's Body Found In Monmouth Condominium Fire The body of an elderly man was found after a fire Wednesday evening in Monmouth County, authorities said.  The man may have  tried to "self-extinguish" the fire at his Covered Bridge condominium on Pine Cluster Circle in Manalapan, reports said.  Gordon’s Corner firefighters and Manalapan police responded at about 6:30 p.m. The cause and manner of the unidentified condo owner's death remain under investigation, authorities said.  The Monmouth County Fire Marshal and Monmouth County Prosecutor are investigating.
