Small Plane Crashes Off Runway In Sussex County (

A pilot got out OK after his Cessna crashed nose-first off the runway Tuesday morning at Sussex Airport, the FAA confirmed. The single-engine 150 crashed at the privately-owned 96-acre airport on County Road 629 in Wantage around 11:45 a.m. April 16. Only the pilot was aboard. Only the pilot was aboard. Pilot Airlifted After Banner Plane Crashes In South Jersey: Police
A banner plane pilot was airlifted to a South Jersey hospital after crashing near a Gloucester County airport, authorities said. On Thursday, Sept. 14, at 4:14 p.m., Monroe Township police responded to Cross Keys Airport for an aircraft accident. A single-engine Cessna 150G banner plane crashed in the wooded area west of the airport while attempting to lift a banner, Monrow Township police said. The pilot killed in a plane crash near Robert J. Miller Airpark in Lacey Township has been identified, authorities said. Oscar Molina, 61, of Long Brach was killed when his Cirrus SR20 crashed at about 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2 near the Ocean County airpark, Lacey police said. Authorities have identified the 44-year-old pilot killed in a helicopter crash on Thursday, Aug. 31. Josef Yitzhak of Israel died in the crash, South Brunswick police said. The Federal Aviation Administration and officials in Gloucester County are investigating a fatal skydiving accident.
