DWI, Unlicensed PA Driver Sought In NJ Crash That Left Victims Seriously Injured: Police
Police in New Jersey have issued a warrant for the arrest of a DWI driver from Pennsylvania wanted in a crash that left two people seriously injured last month.
Mitchell G. Holley, 34, of Downingtown, was heady south on Route 35 in Wall Township on Saturday, Oct. 7 around 6:45 p.m., when his Nissan Alitma left his lane of travel and struck a Mazda CX3, police in Wall Township said.
The 39-year-old Mazda driver and his 31-year-old female passenger, both of Point Pleasant, were extricated, and taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, police said.

DWI Off-Duty Officer Charged In Double-Fatal Somerset County Crash, Victims IDd: Prosecutor
An off-duty Edison police officer was charged with vehicular homicide in connection with one of the two double-fatal crashes that occurred in Somerset County over the weekend, authorities announced.
Amitoj Oberoi, 29, of Somerset, was charged with two counts of first-degree vehicular homicide, as well as DWI, and several motor vehicle violations, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Oberoi is employed as an Edison police officer and was off-duty at the time of the crash, the prosecutor said.

A 36-year-old woman from Gloucester County was charged with DWI, assault by auto and reckless vehicular homicide after a three-car crash, authorities said.
Julia R. Scanlon, of Sewell, allegedly was intoxicated as she drove a car southbound on Egg Harbor Road at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 27, and blew through a red light at Ganttown Road, according to Washington Township police.
Her car collided with a car driven by Frank J. Bersani traveling west on Ganttown Road and the impact sent the SUV crashing into a minivan heading east, police said.

A 28-year-old man from Mercer County has been sentenced to six years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal DWI crash authorities said.
Egrevel Vasquez-Garcia, of Hightstown, was charged with aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide, and assault by auto, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.
On June 28, 2022, at approximately 11:50 p.m., on Route 130 in North Brunswick Township a 2016 Toyota Highlander driven by Vasquez-Garcia struck a Jeep Patriot driven by Levelt Alexis, Jr. at a high rate of speed causing Alexis’ death, Ciccone said.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist killed last month by a DWI driver from Pennsylvania died doing what he loved, according to his obituary.
Jake Schreck, of Allentown (Monmouth County) was killed when he was apparently struck by 47-year-old Ketan Kabaria, of Yardley, PA, around 5:50 p.m. on Friday, March 31 near Route 539 (Old York Road) and Montgomery Way in Robbinsville, police said.
Schreck was brought to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Robbinsville police said.

Amy Buchanan, 56, of Gloucester Township, was killed in a DWI crash involving a pickup truck driven by Patrick M. Dunn, 42, of Harrisonville, in Elk Township on Tuesday, Nov. 1, the outlet said.
