Atlantic City police arrested four suspects accused of committing four armed robberies in 70 minutes in a vehicle carjacked from Maryland, authorities said. The first robbery occurred at 6:27 a.m. Thursday, March 23, and involved an 89-year-old man on New York Avenue. The suspects struck him in the chest and stole his jacket, cash and cell phone, police said. A minute later, a 45-year-old woman was robbed on Baltic Avenue. Teens Wounded In Atlantic City Shooting
Two 15-year-old boys were wounded in shootings in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Sunday, Jan. 22, at 1:38 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of Baltic Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Police found evidence of gunfire but did not locate a victim. Moments later, officers were alerted about two shooting victims at a residence about a block away. As police searched an apartment building for a stabbing suspect, he walked in, authorities said. On Jan. 19, the Atlantic City man was arrested and charged after stabbing another man. At 5:50 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the 100 block of north Tennessee Avenue in reference to a male that was stabbed. Five children and two adults were wounded when their two dogs encountered another on a walk and turned on them in Atlantic City, authorities said. A 25-year-old man was arrested in Atlantic City with a loaded handgun, authorities said.
