Four Inches Of Snow Forecasted Along Jersey Shore Overnight
Many parts of the Jersey Shore avoided the snow during a pre-Valentine's Day winter storm, but the coast doesn't appear to be dodging it this time. The National Weather Service said the Jersey Shore could see two to four inches of snow overnight and in the morning on Saturday, Feb. 17. All counties in South Jersey are under a winter weather advisory for the duration of the storm, with some winter storm warnings expected. A Cape May County man has been charged with stabbing another man to death in Atlantic City on New Year's Day. Atlantic County prosecutors said 30-year-old Vincent Oglesby of Woodbine was arrested in Pleasantville at around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3. Oglesby is accused of killing 50-year-old Richard Vincent O'Brien III by stabbing him in the neck. Atlantic City police found O'Brien bleeding on the unit block of South California Avenue just after 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1. An Atlantic City man was sentenced on Thursday, Jan, 4, to three years in state prison after police found him with a BB gun, heroin, and fentanyl in 2021, authorities said. Atlantic County prosecutors said 43-year-old Emmanuel Diaz had been convicted of third-degree unlawful possession of a BB gun. Truck Crash Closes Exit On Atlantic City Expressway
A crash closed an exit on the Atlantic City Expressway on Monday, Nov. 27, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. in Atlantic City, according to the South Jersey Transportation Authority. The crash closed Exit 2 off the expressway and drivers were being asked to move over for emergency vehicles, 511nj.org reported. The crash involved a truck that was unloading a dumpster toppling power lines, Atlantic City police said.

Atlantic City police pulled a distraught man from the ledge of a parking garage earlier this month, authorities said. On Sept. 10, t 3:03 p.m., police officers responded to the top floor of a parking structure in reference to a man who was lying on the ledge continually looking over. Atlantic City police are on the lookout for a 12-year-old girl who went missing last week. Luna Camacho was last seen at her home in Atlantic City on Friday, Sept. 8 and was reported missing Tuesday, Sept. 12, Atlantic City police said. On Sunday, July 2, at 9:30 p.m., Detective Christopher Dodson received information regarding a man in the beach block of California Avenue that was in possession of a handgun. Three people were charged with various drug-related offenses in Atlantic City, authorities said. A handgun also was recovered on June 29, according to Atlantic City police. A court-ordered search warrant on the home of Kassandra Beebe, 33, of Atlantic City. turned up more than 24 grams of methamphetamine, 52 bags of heroin, three grams of cocaine, and prescription pills.
