An 18-year-old high school student who reportedly had plans to commit a school shooting in Montgomery County has been arrested, according to police. Rockville resident Andrea Ye, whose preferred name is Alex Ye, was arrested on Wednesday, April 17 following an extensive investigation after the FBI notified Montgomery County Public Schools about a 129-page "manifesto" authored by the teen. Juvenile Arrested Months After Making Bomb Threat To Montgomery County High School: Police
A juvenile was arrested months after he made a bomb threat to a Montgomery County high school, as well as schools in several other states, police said Friday, March 1. The suspect called Wootton High School in the 2100 block of Wootton Parkway around 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27 and claimed that bombs had been placed inside specific areas of the school.
