Two University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) students were killed, and two others suffered critical injuries after being struck head-on by a suspected intoxicated wrong-way driver in Delaware.
Delaware State Police identified 22-year-old Eric Staley, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania resident Makayla Belton, 18, as the two who were killed in a fatal crash on Sunday in Seaford involving a Honda Pilot and Nissan Rogue.

A Toyota Camry was heading west in the left turn lane when it was struck by an eastbound BMW 528 on Pulaski Highway (Route 40) at Wells Camp Road in North East around 9 p.m., State Police said.
A passenger in the Toyota Camry, Virginia Thomas, 61, of North East, was airlifted to a local trauma center where she was pronounced dead. The second person who died was a female passenger of the BMW, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of kin.

Police say that one person is dead and several others were injured in a violent crash in Baltimore.
Officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded to the intersection of Moravia Road and Interstate 895 to investigate a crash around 10:15 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, after receiving reports of a collision, according to authorities.
The collision reportedly occurred when a driver attempting to make an errant turn collided with a separate vehicle.
