Support is on the rise for a Maryland high school senior and upcoming Towson University student shot and killed last week. Olamide Olakanye, 18, of Upper Marlboro died at a nearby hospital after being shot on the 1200 block of Dunbar Oaks Drove around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, Daily Voice reported. Fire Possibly Caused By 'Discarded Smoking Materials' Displaces Maryland Family
A family is displaced after a fire tore through their Cecil County home on Saturday afternoon, officials say. It didn't take crews from the North East Fire Company to get the blaze under control but the damage had already been done to the Razor Strap Road home in North East, which was gutted by the flames.
