This week, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that there is a nationwide recall of thousands of Hallmark Keepsake Christmas tree ornaments of Cad Bane, who is featured in several Star Wars shows on Disney+. Disney+ To Raise Prices Along With Several Other Major Streaming Services
Another year, another streaming service price hike. Disney+, the streaming video platform that boasts more than 150 million users, is raising the price of its monthly subscriptions beginning Thursday, Oct. 17, the company said. The spike comes as Disney said it will crack down on password-sharing, Variety reported. The House of the Mouse announced earlier this year that prices for its most basic package with advertisements will climb from $8 to $10 monthly. Disney+ Premium will also rise by $2 to $16 monthly. Motorcyclist Killed In Maryland Crash Remembered As 'Good Friend With Heart Of Gold'
A motorcyclist who was killed in a midday crash in Washington County this week is being remembered as a curious mind who was not afraid to try new things. On Monday afternoon, officers were called at around 12:20 p.m. to investigate a reported crash involving 35-year-old Hagerstown resident Francis Walter, who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of West Wilson Boulevard and US Route 11. A Maryland native was part of the creative team who scored an Oscar for Best Animated Feature at the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 27.
