First responders in Montgomery County and Washington DC were called to a two-alarm fire that broke out at a local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon church), authorities announced.

The crash reportedly occurred the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the 3000 block of Connecticut Avenue NW, outside of the National Zoo, according to a DC Fire and EMS spokesperson.

A historic Georgetown Jazz club is reopening after a fire broke out last week, officials state.
The Blues Alley Jazz Club will reopen Tuesday, Nov. 1, confirms a spokesperson for the historic jazz supper club.
The club went up in flames around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, just 30 minutes before a scheduled performance, as previously reported by Daily Voice.
