Homicide Investigation Launched After Woman Found Dead In Prince George's County Apartment: PD
Police have initiated a homicide investigation after a woman was found dead at an apartment in Prince George’s County Wednesday night, April 3. Officers with the Bladensburg Police Department were called to conduct a welfare check at an apartment building on the 4100 block of 53rd Place around 11:15 p.m. and found a woman with traumatic injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The investigation is being led by the Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit. Daily Voice has reached out to the PGPD for additional details.

Officers in Maryland were forced to fire their service weapons at a suspect who attempted to run them down before crashing into a police cruiser and fleeing into Washington, DC, officials said. Crash Closes Major Intersection Into DC In Prince George's County
A crash that downed wires closed a major street Thursday afternoon in Bladensburg. Northbound Baltimore Avenue near Bladensburg Road was closed as of 1 p.m. The major intersection is located just northeast of Washington DC and commuters can expect long delays. Bladensburg police say they were waiting on a utility service to respond, and are advising everyone to use another route.

Maryland Woman Tased, Arrested, After Swinging Small Axe At Man: Police
A woman has been arrested after she swung a small axe at a man in a Bladensburg parking lot and police saw it, reports WUSA9. The involved officers overheard the attack On Dec. 19th, and approached the pair, The Chief of the Bladensburg Police Department said. Police ended up tasing the woman and the male victim suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital and the woman is now in custody.
