A fugitive wanted for a home invasion in St. Mary's County last year was taken into custody over the weekend following a lengthy investigation, authorities announced. Delontey Montario Butler, 31, was arrested on Sunday, July 21, on open warrants for home invasion, first-degree assault, and other offenses throughout the region. A woman no stranger to law enforcement is back in custody after being tracked down in Southern Maryland. An alert was issued by the Charles County Sheriff's Office late last month as they sought the public's assistance in tracking down a fugitive from Hughesville wanted on a host of charges.
