(Update) Standoff: Police Release Details On Incident Near Central Mass School Police said a standoff near Cushing Academy in Ashburnham Thursday morning, March 30, ended peacefully after a suspect who led officers on a chase locked himself in his truck near the Worcester County school and refused to come, Massachusetts State Police said.  The driver's name was not released.  The chase began in Winchendon after the driver assaulted an officer and sped away, authorities said. Gardner Woman, 28, Killed In Motorcycle-Involved Crash In Winchendon: Police A 28-year-old woman from Gardner has died following a motorcycle-involved crash in Winchendon, authorities said. Man Who Damaged Women's Cars In Worcester, Hampshire As Part Of A Fetish Ordered To Get Therapy A judge ordered a 38-year-old Winchendon man who confessed to disabling cars in several cities in Hampton and Worcester counties as part of a fetish to undergo counseling, authorities said.  Judge Richard Cary sentenced Alexander K. Yee to three years probation after he pleaded guilty to four counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle late last month, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.
