Evidence, including a dash-cam video, shows that the driver of the tanker wasn't responsible for causing the crash, the Massachusetts State Police said in its latest update. Cause Released For 'Strange Smell' That Hospitalized West Newbury School Student One student was hospitalized and multiple students nauseated because of a strange odor reported at a Pentucket middle school in West Newbury. Seventh-grade students in a third-floor science lab reported a strange odor around 10:00 a.m. at Pentucket Middle School on Monday, May 1, according to the public relations team for fire and school districts.  Thirty-nine students were evaluated at the scene, six of whom complained of symptoms including nausea.
