Cape Cod Toddler Attacked By Dog Airlifted To Boston Hospital A 2-year-old child is undergoing emergency treatment at a Boston hospital after they were attacked by a dog on Sunday, March 31, authorities announced.  Wellfleet police said a pit bull mix bit the toddler just after 2 p.m. at a home on East Hill Road.  Paramedics rushed the child to Cape Cod Gateway Airport, where a MedFlight pilot awaited to take them to Boston.  The child's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police did not say how the dog was connected to the child.
