Man With Dementia Found Lying In Snow In Russell; K9 Leads Police To His Location An 87-year-old Hampden County man is likely alive today thanks to the efforts of a Massachusetts State Police dog named Orry.  The man, who suffers from dementia, had wandered off from his home in Russell in the area of Blanford Road on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 21. He was missing for more than eight hours on a frighteningly cold day. Northampton Roundabout Detour To Send Vehicles Over the Coolidge Bridge For two to three weeks, motorists exiting Interstate 91 at Northampton Exit 19 will be in for a  long detour over the Coolidge Bridge. The detour is necessary, state officials said, to allow for the construction of a new $8 million roundabout, traffic lights and pedestrian crossing at the Damon Road-Route 9 intersection in Northampton. The detour is set to being July 20 and could last 14-21 days, according to The Daily Hampshire Gazette. Once in place, there will be no going straight onto Damon Road.
