A driver who sped through multiple highways while followed hotly by police drove into a state trooper barracks parking lot before, realizing where he was, quickly driving away and restarting the car chase. The 41-year-old man who crashed into and killed a Milton father of two last year has been indicted on manslaughter charges, authorities said. Manuel Afonseca of Dorchester was indicted earlier this week on aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, involuntary manslaughter by wanton or reckless conduct, negligent motor vehicle homicide, and driving with a suspended license as a habitual traffic offender, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said. A Massachusetts man decided that having a few too many drinks should not stop his evening drive, but took to the roads heading the wrong way, according to officials. Police received a report of a driver heading east in the westbound lanes of I-393 in Concord, New Hampshire around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, New Hampshire State Police said. A 31-year-old Massachusetts woman was arrested this week in connection with a boat crash that occurred this summer causing herself and one other person to be hospitalized, authorities said.
