Multiple vehicles were destroyed when a garage fire broke out in Maryland, authorities announced. In Allegany County, officers from the LaVale Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Vocke Road shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, officials said. An 8-year-old girl was killed and six others hospitalized after a ping-ponging crash on I-68 in Maryland that ended when a tractor-trailer struck their SUV, according to state police. A wanted Maryland teen took local, state, and federal investigators on a wild chase that ended with him crashing into an off-duty police officer before being apprehended on a nearby rooftop, authorities announced.
