The National Weather Service has released snowfall totals for the DMV in this week's storm. In Maryland, Sabillasville which appears to have gotten the most amount of snow: 8.5 inches on Tuesday, Feb. 13, the NWS said. In Virginia, Gavel Springs in Frederick County got about 4.5 inches. More than two decades after a 20-year-old woman was found raped and dropped unconscious in a ditch off the side of I-95 in Cecil County, justice has been served. Harford County resident Bryant Nakia White, 48, of Edgewood, was sentenced to multiple life sentences for the 2002 attack of a woman whose body was left on the side of the interstate off of Frenchtown Road near Port Deposit, prosecutors announced. A suspect who couldn't find a getaway driver is in custody after shooting a Maryland State Police trooper and two deputies from the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office during a botched burglary attempt, authorities announced. Firefighters Injured Falling Through Floor Battling Cecil County Blaze: Maryland Fire Marshal
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries after falling through the floor of a Cecil County home while battling a tricky blaze that broke out on Thursday afternoon, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal. Shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, members of the Community Fire Company of Perryville were called to a Principe Road home in Port Deposit when a neighbor reported smoke and flames that were visible from the residence. A convict with a history of possessing child pornography went back to the well and is facing new charges in Maryland after being busted by his probation officer, according to state police. Cecil County resident Brian Wilde, 45, of Port Deposit, was arrested and charged following a Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation that found he was in possession of child porn, authorities said on Thursday, Sept. 8.
