Crash Investigation Leads To Miles-Long Delays On I-295 In Anne Arundel County Traffic was tied up on Tuesday afternoon in the northbound lanes of I-295 in Anne Arundel County as crews investigated a reported crash. Shortly before 1:40 p.m. on July 2, first responders were called to a stretch of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Arundel Mills Boulevard, where there was a reported crash with injuries. Officials said that two right lanes were blocked with one left lane getting by in the area during the crash investigation. Delays were reportedly 3.5 miles as of 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Anthony Donald DiFilippo died at the age of 36 on Tuesday, Mar. 1 while visiting his family. DiFilippo was born in Baltimore and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Cove City EMS in Craven County, North Carolina, according to his obituary.
