A 25-year-old District man is facing a lifetime behind bars following an attempted sexual assault in Alexandria last month, officials say. Dykwon Perry Davis has been charged by a multi-jurisdictional grand jury from Alexandria, Falls Church, and Arlington, on felony charges following an alleged incident late on Feb. 3 in the Potomac Yard neighborhood. An indictment of 16 members of a violent mid-Atlantic crime ring has been unsealed and the federal agencies are naming names. Of the 16, eight of the alleged crime ring members were arrested in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, police in Fairfax County, Virginia announced later that day. A 21-year-old hospital worker in northern Virginia was arrested on accusations he twice fondled a patient's genitals, authorities announced. A former D.C. principal was sentenced to 30 months in prison on Wednesday, August 3, for embezzling $175,000, officials said. Five members of the violent international gang MS-13 were convicted of kidnapping and murdering two Fairfax County teenagers in 2016, prosecutors said.
