Beloved Father Dies At Hospital Days After Shooting In Southeast DC: MPD A beloved family man died at the hospital nearly two weeks after being shot in Southeast DC, the Metropolitan Police Department announced. On Wednesday, Dec. 20, officers were called to the 2900 block of Knox Place SE to investigate a reported shooting, where they found District resident Dwayne Barbour suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Barbour was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries, and on Tuesday, the department announced that he died there at around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31. Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information after the body of Michael Nwaulu, 17, was found in a parking lot in the 9600 block of Parkstone Drive around 9 p.m., Thursday, March 2. 22-Year-Old Shot Dead In DC, Police Offer 25K Reward For Information D.C. police are investigating a recent homicide of a 22-year-old, officials said. On Oct. 2, Antonio Waller was shot in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, at around noon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.  Officials said Waller was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone with information on the suspect, or suspects, that would lead to their arrest, authorities said.
