DC Police Officer Shot, Suspect Remains At Large An officer with the Metropolitan Police Department was shot in Northwest D.C. and the shooter is on the run, according to officials. The shooting happened on Jan. 23, in the 1400 block of Quincy Street NW when officers approached a man on the street and he opened fire, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
