One person was struck and killed by a train early on Wednesday afternoon in Prince George's County, according to officials. An alert was issued by a Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesperson advising that at approximately 1:35 p.m. on May 15, a person was struck by a train. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Two injuries were reported when a bus with three students on board was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Prince George's County, officials say. Local and state police are investigating a shooting at Bowie State University that left two people with gunshot wounds on Homecoming Weekend, authorities announced. At around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night, troopers from the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack were called to assist Bowie State University with security during celebratory events, when gunshots rang out near the school's Center for Business and Graduate Studies building. Officials say that a truck stolen from a firehouse in Maryland is back where it belongs after investigators were able to track it down. On Thursday afternoon, Prince George’s County Fire and EMS officials said that a marked 2011 Chevy Silvarado was taken from the Ritchie Volunteer Fire Department in Capitol Heights.
