A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Prince George’s County early Friday morning, March 22, police said. It happened near the 3600 block of Powder Mill Road in Beltsville. Montgomery County police are investigating a serious pedestrian collision that killed two dogs and left a teenager fighting for her life. Emergency crews were called to the 6300 block of Muncaster Mill Road around 4:21 p.m., Monday, April 10 after receiving reports of a serious collision. Officers arrived to find a 17-year-old girl who had been seriously injured while walking her two dogs across the street. Police ID Pedestrian Fatally Struck Crossing Busy Maryland Road
Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in Mount Airy earlier this week, authorities say. Alex Fernandez, of Mount Airy, was killed after being struck around 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the 1000 block of Ridge Road, according to Howard County police. Fernandez was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision. The driver and sole occupant of the Chevy remained at the scene and was not injured in the collision. Ridge Road was closed for around five hours after the collision. The investigation is ongoing.

Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Montgomery County
A 39-year-old man has died following a fatal pedestrian collision in Gaithersburg, authorities say. The victim was struck in the area of Midcounty Highway and Miller Fall Road around 8:42 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, according to Montgomery County police. Investigators say that the victim, who was located in the roadway, was hit by a red Saturn Aura. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene following the collision. A man was struck and killed by a car in Prince George's County, authorities said. Officers responded to a call about a pedestrian collision in the 7100 block of Good Luck Road in New Carrollton around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2. Authorities believe the driver involved in the collision was traveling eastbound when they hit the victim as he tried to cross the street.
