Neighbors are being credited for helping rescue a Washington County resident out of a burning home overnight in Hagerstown. At approximately 11:20 p.m. on Monday, April 22, crews from the Hagerstown Fire Department were called to the 700 block of Chestnut Street following reports of a house fire with people trapped inside a two-story home. Three residents were rescued from a large fire at a multi-family home in Prince George’s County on Monday afternoon, March 25, responders said. The blaze broke out at a home on the 15600 block of Everglade Lane in Bowie shortly after 1:05 p.m., the PGFD said.
