Fire Possibly Caused By 'Discarded Smoking Materials' Displaces Maryland Family A family is displaced after a fire tore through their Cecil County home on Saturday afternoon, officials say. It didn't take crews from the North East Fire Company to get the blaze under control but the damage had already been done to the Razor Strap Road home in North East, which was gutted by the flames. Young Children Overdose At Baltimore Home: Report Detectives were investigating how two young children overdosed at a Baltimore home over the weekend, according to reports by CBS 13. A 4- and- 6-year old child were found suffering from an overdose at a home on the 1500 block of McHenry Street in the late night hours of Saturday, June 11, the outlet reports. Hypothermia Alert Issued In This Maryland County For Monday Night A hypothermia alert has been issued for Montgomery County starting at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28. It will last until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1. The alert is issued whenever temperatures and/or wind chill are expected to be at or below 32 degrees. In these situations, people could become exposed to hyperthermia or frostbite very easily.
