Knife-Wielding Man With History Of Violence Sentenced For Fatal Stabbing In Montgomery County A 20-year-old man who admitted to a fatal stabbing during a drug deal in Montgomery County will have plenty of time to think about his crime.  Silver Spring resident Dakari Thomas has been sentenced to 25 years with all but 12 years suspended after admitting to killing Getro Marius Benamna in December 2021 during a botched marijuana sale.
